Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or Psychology.
  • Full licensure with the North Carolina Behavior Analyst Licensure Board.
  • Clearance from a criminal background check.
  • Not being listed in the North Carolina Health Care Abuse Registry.
  • An active National Provider Identifier number, Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare profile, and NCTracks profile.
  • Professional liability insurance coverage of at least $1 million per claim and $3 million aggregate.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and oversee behavior plans following Clinical Coverage Policy 8P.
  • Observe clients to identify challenging behaviors, record and analyze data, and monitor implementation of support plans.
  • Assess member progress, revise person-centered behavior support plans as needed, and decrease target behaviors.
  • Provide monthly training sessions to members, staff, and caregivers on positive behavior techniques.
  • Independently manage a caseload, participate in treatment plan meetings, and collaborate with the care team.
  • Use tele-consultation services when necessary.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, autism, or traumatic brain injury.
  • Familiarity with the North Carolina Innovations Waiver program.

Covenant Case Management Services provides case management and direct support for individuals with IDD and TBI across 56 counties in North Carolina. It coordinates Medicaid Tailored Plans, Innovations Waiver, and 1915(i) services through partnerships with LME/MCOs, and develops Individual Support Plans that connect clients to housing, employment, day programs, and healthcare. Direct services include Community Living and Supports, Residential and Supported Living, Dream Center Day Program, Community Networking, respite care, and supported employment, along with specialized behavioral, dietary, and therapeutic consults. The goal is to help clients and families access needed services, build stable supports, and increase opportunities for community living and employment through a person-centered approach.
