About the job
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
- A current New York State Radiologic Technologist License with Intravascular Contrast Media Injection is required.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in Radiography (R) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) is required.
- Ability to maintain all New York State and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists continuing education and credential renewal requirements is required.
- Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records, Radiology Information Systems, Hospital Information Systems, Picture Archiving and Communication Systems, and modality-specific software is required.
- Perform a variety of magnetic resonance examinations using GE imaging equipment.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images in an outpatient imaging environment.
- Support accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and innovative research.
- Provide patient-centered care and an exceptional patient experience while following imaging safety and quality standards.
- One year of experience in Diagnostic Imaging.
- Previous relevant experience in magnetic resonance imaging.
