Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Process Engineering, or Engineering Project Management within a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and inspection processes is required.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and supporting corrective and preventive actions is required.
  • Familiarity with PFMEAs, Control Plans, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and coordinate measuring machine programming is preferred.
  • Proficiency with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines, and imaging systems is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Oracle, Minitab, and SQL is required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are required.
  • Excellent collaboration, written communication, and verbal communication skills are required.
  • An ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to address customer or supplier-related issues is required.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement is required.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure customer requirements are clearly understood, implemented, and fully met.
  • Lead and coordinate new product launches and engineering design changes as assigned.
  • Supervise the daily activities of quality inspectors and auditors to enhance quality control processes and maintain high product standards.
  • Investigate customer complaints and product returns while supporting effective customer communication.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to enhance customer satisfaction and competitiveness.
  • Support internal and external audit activities to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of product quality and reliability standards.
  • Support supplier quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret statistical data related to product performance and reliability.
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans, and risk-based quality tools.
  • Perform configuration audits, process capability analyses, and trend and risk assessments.

  • Familiarity with PFMEAs, Control Plans, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and coordinate measuring machine programming.
