About the job

Requirements
  • You have 5+ years in expansion, market launch, business operations, general management, or a similarly high-ownership role.
  • You are based in the UK or Europe, and you have launched and/or scaled businesses across multiple European countries, namely Germany, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, and/or the Nordics.
  • You have personally owned taking European launches from idea to live operations.
  • You determine which markets are worth entering, what must be true for them to work, and whether to build, partner, or acquire.
  • You are comfortable negotiating partnerships, reviewing contracts, setting up entities, solving supply constraints, and doing whatever else is required to compliantly launch.
  • You can understand complex regulatory environments and work effectively across legal, clinical, and operations while retaining ownership of decisions.
  • You learn unfamiliar markets quickly, find the right people, ask sharp questions, separate real blockers from perceived blockers, and reach high-quality decisions without months of research.
  • You run several country launches concurrently while maintaining control of details and create clear plans with directly responsible individuals and deadlines.
  • You turn each launch into reusable scaffolding and identify what can be standardized across Europe to reduce launch time.
  • You take responsibility for results until patients are being served.
Responsibilities
  • You own European expansion from market research through launch readiness, turning market-entry plans into the ability to compliantly serve patients and repeating the process faster each time.
  • You determine which countries to enter next based on market size, customer demand, unit economics, regulatory complexity, and speed to launch.
  • You identify what is blocking launches in each priority country and construct plans to overcome those blockers.
  • You choose the fastest compliant route into each market through internal capability building, partnerships with established local providers, and/or acquisition of existing infrastructure.
  • You ensure the company has appropriate legal entities, local and national permissions, registrations, contracts, and compliance frameworks required to operate.
  • You establish the clinical infrastructure required to serve patients, including helping staff the initial clinical team when building from zero.
  • You secure reliable medication supply, pharmacy partners, and fulfillment infrastructure so markets can launch quickly and scale without operational constraints.
  • You coordinate legal, clinical, product, operational, and supply work so the Growth team can begin testing each market quickly.
  • You turn lessons from each launch into a repeatable system that reduces the time, cost, and complexity of entering subsequent countries.
Desired Qualifications
  • You have operated in a heavily regulated industry and know how to move quickly while treating compliance as an ownership responsibility.
  • You have launched and scaled businesses across multiple European countries, including Germany, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, and/or the Nordics.
  • You have evaluated partnerships, joint ventures, licensing arrangements, or acquisitions as routes into new markets, including conducting diligence, structuring deals, and closing them.
  • You use artificial intelligence to research markets, analyze regulations, evaluate opportunities, draft plans, automate workflows, and increase personal execution capacity.
  • You have built and managed a lean, high-performance team across multiple countries.
  • You have founded something or joined a project early.
