Power BI Developer (Mid-Senior Level)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Mid-Senior Power BI Developer with strong experience in data modeling, dashboard development, and data visualization. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, understand business requirements, and deliver high-quality Power BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Design and optimize data models, including relationships, measures, and calculated columns.
• Develop and optimize DAX measures and calculations.
• Connect Power BI to different data sources, including SQL databases and cloud platforms.
• Perform data transformation and cleaning using Power Query.
• Optimize report performance, data models, and DAX queries.
• Validate data accuracy and ensure consistency across reports.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver reporting solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily meetings, and reviews.
• Support existing reports, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.

Required Skills and Experience

• • 4+ years of experience developing reports and dashboards with Power BI.
  • Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Experience working with SQL and relational databases.
  • Good understanding of data visualization principles and dashboard design.
  • Experience with Power BI Service, including workspace management, publishing, and scheduled refreshes.
  • Knowledge of row-level security (RLS) and Power BI access management.
  • Experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and work independently.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.

Nice to Have

• • Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric.

Languages

Good level of English, with the ability to communicate effectively in an international team.
