Requirements
  • Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience building and shipping machine learning or artificial intelligence systems in production.
  • Strong Python skills, including experience with data processing and machine learning or large language model pipelines.
  • Practical experience with classification systems using traditional machine learning and/or large language model approaches, including prompt-based or fine-tuned methods.
  • Comfort working with messy, real-world data and debugging model behaviour on live customer data.
  • Experience with at least one of PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, or a similar data store.
  • Ability to write tests and think rigorously about evaluation and validation of machine learning systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the autonomy to take a project from ambiguous discovery to a shipped feature.
  • Comfort communicating directly with customers and other stakeholders, owning customer-facing issues, and prioritising under pressure.
Responsibilities
  • Design, train, and iterate on classification and taxonomy models, including multi-label classification and rule-based or large-language-model-based hybrids, that power Nebuly's core product.
  • Build and extend ingestion and enrichment pipelines that process enterprise customer interaction data at scale, with attention to performance, cost, and reliability.
  • Work on the return-on-investment product line by estimating human time saved, mapping cost per hour per class, and building the taxonomy and trust logic behind it.
  • Improve the robustness and performance of personally identifiable information detection models, including evaluating alternative open-source large language models and improving training data.
  • Contribute to and extend the MCP server and other artificial-intelligence-facing tooling used internally and by customers.
  • Build and maintain a shared automated testing framework for evaluating models, datasets, and classification pipelines.
  • Investigate and fix model and data issues reported directly by enterprise customers, often under production time pressure.
  • Work on large language model inference efficiency, including batching, caching, token usage, and model migrations as providers evolve.
  • Run proofs of concept and technical discovery for new artificial-intelligence-driven product capabilities, from scoping to prototype.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to translate ambiguous product requests into shipped AI features.
  • Participate in code and model reviews, and help raise the technical bar of the AI team.

Nebuly is an analytics platform for organizations building products powered by large language models. It captures every nuance of user interactions with LLMs, turning subtle conversational cues into actionable insights rather than relying on explicit signals like thumbs up or down. This helps AI and product teams understand how users experience AI systems, identify issues, and uncover improvement opportunities. The platform supports A/B testing, generates visually rich reports, and makes it easy to share outcomes across the organization, promoting data-driven decision-making and continuous refinement of AI models. Nebuly emphasizes transparency, governance, and compliance (e.g., ISO/IEC 42001), positioning itself for regulated enterprise environments. Its focus on enterprise SaaS, subscription delivery, and advanced AI-driven analytics differentiates it from traditional analytics tools by analyzing implicit feedback to optimize user experience and business results.
