Project Manager
About the job
- A bachelor's degree in an applicable profession, business, or technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- At least 5 years of project management experience, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Skill with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, SAP, and Python.
- Prior experience managing multiple construction projects through engineering, procurement, construction, and closeout phases, with project life cycles of at least 24 months.
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and ensuring timely and efficient deliverable handoffs.
- Ability to communicate project status, progress, budget, and cost information to stakeholders and senior management.
- Experience working with field construction managers and construction contractors.
- Strong project management competencies in planning, scheduling, cost tracking, budget management, risk analysis, and mitigation.
- Issue the Authorization to Construct and ensure all project prerequisites are met for a timely construction start.
- Facilitate project team meetings and document and communicate key decisions and action items to relevant stakeholders.
- Resolve issues promptly, establish task priorities, and manage conflicts with team members and functional managers.
- Manage organizational projects and programs, which may include relocating existing facilities, small civil capital projects, and overseeing software implementation.
- Electrical infrastructure experience.
- PMP or PMI-ACP certification.
- Construction management experience.
- Environmental and permitting experience.
- Utility experience.
