Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Officiate youth sports games and enforce league rules and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor players' conduct and maintain a positive, sportsmanlike environment.
  • Conduct pre-game safety checks of fields and equipment.
  • Communicate with coaches, parents, volunteers, and participants in a respectful and professional manner.
  • Respond to minor injuries or incidents.
  • Complete incident reports and submit documentation as required.
  • Cancel or delay games due to unsafe conditions when necessary.
  • Arrive on time in proper uniform with necessary officiating equipment.
Desired Qualifications
  • Certification in sport-specific rules, such as NFHS, FIFA, ASA, or NIRSA.
  • Experience officiating recreational youth sports.
