Requirements
  • Minimum 7+ years expert level experience in Workday tools and technologies, including Workday integrations, Web Services, Workday Studio, PECI, PICOF, SOAP, REST API, SQL, BIRT Reporting, EIB, RaaS, Cloud Connect, Workday Extend etc.
  • Strong interpersonal & project management skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships with third party vendors as well as people within the organization.
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels, from senior leadership to end-users.
  • Proficiency in data analysis within Workday, including generating reports, creating custom reports, and utilizing Workday's reporting tools effectively (e.g. Report Advanced Writer, Calculated fields etc.)
  • Strong leadership and team development skills with a proven ability to coach, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Deep knowledge of People processes and best practices, and a passion for aligning technology solutions to business goals and user needs.
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making, with the ability to analyze platform usage, measure impact, and translate insights into action.
Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end Workday projects, including implementation, enhancements, and process improvements across all active modules (e.g., HCM, Benefits, Talent & Performance, Compensation)
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, IT, Finance, and other teams to understand business needs, identify user pain points, and translate these into clear product requirements
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business impact, user feedback, and technical feasibility, ensuring continuous improvement of the Workday platform
  • Drive innovation within Workday, exploring new functionalities, third-party integrations, and creative solutions that align with Dropbox’s People Technology roadmap.
  • Integrations: Manages Design, implementation, delivery and support of integration projects and functionality using Workday Studio, RaaS, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), complex calculated fields, Web Services, Workday Custom Reports, and XSLT
  • Advanced Report Writing: Create, maintain, and process standard and custom ad-hoc reports and dashboards, to meet business needs (including Matrix, Trending, and Composite reports)
  • Day-to-day Operations: Work to resolve issues, system troubleshooting, manage severity assignments and set priorities for resolution
  • Innovation: Keep up with market trends and tool innovations and investigate possible methods of improving and/or increasing automation
  • Management: Build and develop the Workday team by fostering a product-oriented mindset, promoting best practices, and driving technical skill growth within the team
Desired Qualifications
  • Workday certification(s) in one or more active modules (e.g., HCM Core, Benefits, Talent, Compensation).
  • Experience in agile product development frameworks and a strong understanding of the product lifecycle from ideation to launch.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of successfully navigating complex technical challenges and driving meaningful solutions.
  • Experience in a global organization with the ability to navigate varying regional requirements and user needs effectively.
