Requirements
  • High School Certificate or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar client service or operational role, preferably within life and/or health insurance related fields.
  • Strong understanding of life and/or health insurance products and relevant legislation.

Responsibilities
  • Support Employee Health & Benefits colleagues and clients in all aspects of administration and technical support through accurate, efficient, and timely responses to transaction queries across the insurance life cycle.
  • Support the Group Life and Private Health broking business with administrative tasks including claims, underwriting, reviews, client and member queries, and member management tasks.
  • Drive the standardisation of processes and procedures, including timely and accurate production and processing of client and member queries.
  • Provide legally compliant work to clients, insurers, and members.
  • Enter accurate information into Marsh IT applications to enable the delivery of analytical statistics.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and member records and certificates of currency.
  • Conduct peer reviews and participate in annual audit checks.
  • Document business rules and processes for team use.
  • Support client and member reporting and end-of-month reconciliations.
  • Handle email and telephone enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Suggest and participate in process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives.
  • Provide mentoring and technical guidance to colleagues.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with insurers, clients, and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant insurance legislation and company policies.
  • Maintain professional development and adhere to quality and error avoidance standards.

  • Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn other computerised systems quickly.
