Requirements
  • 4-7 years experience delivering high quality, successful consumer internet/media commerce experiences in web, IOS, and Android outputs.
  • Experience in launching digital products for IOS and Andriod within a commerce vertical, with a solid technical understanding. Lifestyle commerce or entertainment industry-related commerce is a plus.
  • Experience implementing commercial strategies in a digital app and web environment
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms, including driving purchase funnel optimization, monetization, increasing AOV, and omnichannel shopping experiences. Experience with Shopify is a huge plus
  • Excellent design and user experience instincts with an empathetic approach to customer development. Experience working within React, and Next.JS code bases a plus
  • The ability to drive, motivate, support, and earn the trust of cross-functional teams.
  • A strong communicator, with the ability to be able to translate technical information for a wider audience
  • A passion for driving “Makers” and being one yourself.
  • A great understanding of data and how to tell narratives from it.
Responsibilities
  • Champion the mission of the Fender brand into our Fender Play and Fender Tune digital product’s user experience, promoting continuous improvement and new features adding value to our strategic roadmap.
  • Drive commercial value by advocating for the product vision and defining and refining the roadmap with a strong focus on enriching customer engagement while connecting to our broader eCommerce ecosystem.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the product with a focus on feature functionality to understand platform capabilities, push its limitations, and evaluate how feature enhancement translates into our business needs and growth goals.
  • Drive and keep cross-functional teams focused on the goal of the end product with a consistent set of KPIs and goals/objectives.
  • Own the collection of data to provide context and drive decisions. Strike a balance between our business objectives, customer needs, and technological capabilities.
  • Drive innovative thinking on the team, pushing into new territory and capabilities.
  • Work across multiple teams and regions to understand the architecture required to run a scalable digital product within a broader online brand eco-system that thinks globally and can act locally to fit our regional business needs, legal, and IP requirements.
  • Collaborate with the business, engineering, design, product marketing, research teams, and other stakeholders to oversee the creation, development, and iteration of the roadmap
  • Monitor and measure products after launch as a part of the “Measure” and “Learn” portions of Lean product thinking.
  • Clearly communicate roadmap, goals, findings, and data (good and bad) to executives, stakeholders, and the public at large. Be your own marketer.
