About the Job

Requirements

  • A successfully completed commercial vocational qualification, ideally specializing in financial accounting, accounting, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Initial professional experience in accounts receivable management, accounts receivable accounting, or financial accounting.
  • Good knowledge of booking incoming and outgoing payments and reconciling accounts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with enterprise resource planning systems is advantageous.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and a high degree of accuracy and reliability.
  • Very good German-language skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Record and book incoming and outgoing payments.
  • Independently manage accounts receivable, including maintaining, monitoring, and reconciling accounts receivable accounts.
  • Perform account clarifications and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and record accruals and correcting entries.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
  • Support the preparation of analyses and reports.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and the continuous optimization of financial processes.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems.
