As Writer’s Vice President of Healthcare solutions, you will lead Writer’s efforts to leverage our full-stack Generative AI platform to transform healthcare, with a focus on US-based payers and specific groups of providers.  This role is both hands-on and strategic. You will be responsible for:

• Product strategy - determining the Generative AI use cases and customer segments in healthcare where Writer can have a major impact, quickly

• Marketing - developing and telling the story of how Writer will transform healthcare, in the language of our industry

• Sales - working closely with our talented, experienced Strategic Sales team to generate and close deals with industry leaders

• Delivery - working with our technical and customer success teams to build and implement GenAI healthcare applications that transform our clients’ businesses

You will report to the Health Industry Lead, who manages the combined Healthcare and Life Sciences vertical.

Key Responsibilities:

• Become recognized as an expert in how GenAI will transform healthcare, and leverage that expertise to both develop our healthcare offerings and reputation in the healthcare sector

• Help our world-class technical teams understand the structure and nuances of healthcare workflows to design, build and deliver industry-leading applications in record time, both pre- and post-sales

• Understand how generative AI use cases drive real enterprise value for healthcare clients, and develop methodologies for prospectively predicting RoI, as well as measuring RoI in implementation

• Collaborate with Writer’s Go-To-Market team to develop demos and sales enablement materials in these use cases

• Partner closely with sales teams to develop executive relationships, generate opportunities, and close enterprise scale deals, both with new prospects and expanding our roles at multiple Fortune 50 healthcare payors

Qualifications:

• 10+ years experience in healthcare, including 2-4 years at a top-tier consulting or technology firm serving payors, and 2+ years at a major payor

• Deep understanding of the entire US healthcare system and the organization of payers, including network, clinical, claims, operations, PBM, UM, etc.

• Thrive in a scrappy, fast-paced environment - ours is not a mature product category, it will require creativity and active listening to figure out how Writer’s solutions can be most transformative

• A passion for technology in general, and generative AI in particular.  Whatever your current role, you have experimented with GenAI personally and professionally, and are excited by its potential

• A deep understanding of the legal, regulatory, policy and competitive dynamics affecting the US healthcare industry, including VBC, CMS regulations and payment policies, etc.

• The ability to communicate the value of Writer’s Generative AI in healthcare to a broad variety of audiences
