A Bachelor's degree, Child Development Associate credential, or Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
Fluency in both English and Spanish.
Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices.
Familiarity with Maryland State Department of Education regulations is a plus.
Applicants must successfully pass state and federal background checks as a condition of employment.
Applicants for federal center campuses must receive GSA security clearance through a government background screening.
Responsibilities
Guide preschool children ages 2 and 3 through hands-on learning using the PLAN curriculum.
Create a warm and safe classroom where every child feels seen and supported.
Partner with families to celebrate each child's development.
Lead and collaborate with the classroom team.
Desired Qualifications
Three years of experience working with young children is preferred.

Pay Range
Assistant Teacher: Based on credentials and experience, range $18-$21/hr

What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree, CDA, or AA in ECE, Education, or a related field
3 years of experience working with young children (preferred)
Fluent Bilingual speakers - English and Spanish
Deep knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices
A warm, patient, and organized personality
Familiarity with MSDE regulations is a big plus
