Requirements
  • Strong, demonstrable Flutter and Dart experience sufficient to own a production app independently.
  • Solid backend experience with Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, and API development.
  • Experience integrating third-party services such as Shopify, payment systems, and authentication.
  • Confidence using artificial intelligence tools to accelerate development.
  • Pragmatic engineering judgment and the ability to balance shipping quickly with technical quality.
Responsibilities
  • Own the Flutter companion app end-to-end, including architecture, features, releases, and quality.
  • Build and ship a growing library of daily games using Flame, Unity, or a similar game engine, backed by clean REST APIs.
  • Integrate APIs, authentication, analytics, push notifications, in-app purchases, and crash reporting.
  • Continuously improve user experience, performance, stability, and the release process across iOS and Android.
  • Maintain and extend the Node.js, TypeScript, and MongoDB backend.
  • Build and evolve APIs and administrative functionality supporting the applications.
  • Integrate third-party services including Shopify, payments, email, and analytics.
  • Maintain and lightly update the Next.js and React web platform.
  • Support login, redemption flows, and features tied to game launches and promotions.
  • Use artificial intelligence tools daily to accelerate coding, refactoring, and testing.
  • Build reusable prompt patterns and workflows.
  • Reduce manual workload through smart automation.
  • Handle backend issues confidently and independently.
  • Maintain clean, well-documented integrations.
  • Deliver stable releases supporting game launches in collaboration with the Senior Game Developer.
  • Ship a steady stream of polished daily games into the app.
Desired Qualifications
  • React and Next.js experience sufficient to maintain a stable web codebase.
  • Cloud deployment experience with Google Cloud, Docker, or continuous integration and continuous delivery.
  • Experience with Firebase, mobile analytics, in-app purchases, or push notifications.
  • Experience with e-commerce and login or user-account systems.
  • Experience working in small, product-led teams.
  • Experience building games in Flame, including samples or a portfolio.
  • Game development experience with Unity or other engines.
  • Experience with real-time or multiplayer game networking using Socket.IO, Photon, or similar technologies.
