Requirements
  • At least 7.5 years of experience in data engineering or machine learning.
  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience in cloud, enterprise, or SaaS environments.
  • Experience delivering multi-tenant, cloud-native applications.
  • Hands-on experience with large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or MCP.
  • Strong Python and machine learning stack experience, REST or gRPC integration, and vector databases.
  • Experience with SAP BTP and HANA, and Databricks or similar data pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud services for data engineering, storage, processing, warehousing, real-time streaming, and serverless computing.
  • Hands-on experience applying performance optimization techniques.
  • Understanding of data modeling and data warehousing principles.
  • 15 years of full-time education.
Responsibilities
  • Discover customer problems and frame AI-driven solutions.
  • Design and implement end-to-end cloud architectures and production applications on SAP BTP.
  • Build AI, large language model, and agentic features, including retrieval-augmented generation and hybrid retrieval, and integrate machine learning services.
  • Ensure quality, security, observability, and continuous integration and continuous delivery.
  • Collaborate with customer teams and product, user experience, data, and architecture teams.
  • Prepare datasets compatible with generative AI; manage vector embeddings; index data with Databricks Vector Search; and use Feature Store with MLflow.
  • Package and deploy pipelines using Databricks Asset Bundles through continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines in GitHub or GitLab.
  • Troubleshoot, tune, and optimize jobs using the Photon engine and serverless compute to ensure cost efficiency and service-level agreement reliability.
  • Define the application's data requirements and structure, and ensure data engineering is robust, scalable, and efficient.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and experience with popular machine learning libraries.
  • Knowledge of big data processing tools such as Spark, Hadoop, Hive, or Kafka.
  • Experience with data orchestration using Apache Airflow.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines and DevOps practices in a cloud environment.
  • Experience with extract, transform, and load tools such as Informatica, Talend, Matillion, or Fivetran.
  • Familiarity with dbt (Data Build Tool).

Accenture partners with AWS to deliver cloud and AI tools for mid-sized companies

Accenture has announced a new collaboration with Amazon Web Services to deliver cloud and AI offerings specifically for mid-sized companies generating between $300 million and $3 billion in annual revenue. The technology bundle, available through AWS Marketplace, includes tools for virtual machine migration, cloud spending optimisation, security strengthening, and AI system risk testing. The offerings fall under Accenture Edge, a dedicated business unit serving mid-market clients. The collaboration also provides conversational AI, virtual agents, and customer service technology. 407 ETR, a Toronto-area electronic toll highway operator, is cited as an early customer. Accenture shares rose 1.6% in premarket trading following the announcement. The stock currently trades around $180, having rebounded more than 50% from June lows but remaining well below its 52-week high of $291.09.
