ProSidian Seeks a Structural Integrity DA Engineer - Engineering (Time and Materials | Non-Exempt) to support an engagement for a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation [SRR]) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy.  

This service supports Environmental Management Sector Clients and ProSidian Team Members (# FTe's: 1) work as part of a Engagement Team Cadre (Labor Category DA10330084) to fulfil T&M - Time and Materials (T&M) requirements. 

The Structural Integrity DA Engineer DA 103 as a  Professional Grade position.

Structural Integrity DA Engineer - Engineering Candidates shall work to support requirements for Technical General Support Services (GSSC) related to NAICS: 541690 - Environmental Consulting Services,  NAICS: 541690 - Scientific and Technical Consulting Services - Energy, and NAICS: 591690 - Professional Scientific Technical Consulting Services and

Position will be supporting the Concentrate, Storage, and Transfer (CST) Structural Integrity Program in the areas of the Tank Top Load program, Seismic Scaffolding, Critical Lift, transfer line qualification and inspection of SSC (including all SS/SC components) to ensure that performance requirements are met in accordance with applicable ACI codes and site procedures. Previous knowledge of these programs and Tank Farm Facilities/systems would be beneficial. Engineering services are provided using SRR processes and procedures. Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRR.

Qualifications

The Structural Integrity DA Engineer - Engineering shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. All employees, in the performance of their respective responsibilities, shall conduct themselves in the highest possible standards of ethical and business conduct.  The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.

requisite work experience and technical skills to fulfill the roles and responsibilities of the Structural Integrity Da Engineers working and performing tasks in the Energy Industry (Oil and Gas / Power and Utilities / Nuclear Energy) BS Degree (minimum) in Engineering  Candidate must have direct experience with the Concentrate, Storage and Transfer (CST) Structural Integrity Program in the areas of the Tank Top Load program, Seismic Scaffolding, Critical Lift, transfer line qualification and inspection of SSC (including all SS/SC components) to ensure that performance requirements are met in accordance with applicable ACI codes and site procedures. Knowledge of these programs and Tank Farm Facilities/systems is needed to perform assigned tasks in allotted time. Need to have ability to obtain qualifications for the Unreviewed Safety Question (USQ) determinations and Radiological Worker Training I (RWT I). A 40 hour work week schedule as anticipated for this position. SRS utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes SRR holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute lunch. Standard Facilities Access required but a security clearance is not currently required for this position
