Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent degree is required.
  • Previous experience is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Assist doctors with patient care, including physical therapy modalities and rehabilitation exercises.
  • Perform administrative, marketing, and sales tasks as assigned.
  • Greet patients and visitors professionally.
  • Perform physical therapy modalities under the direction of the doctor.
  • Teach and monitor patients performing rehabilitation exercises, including home exercises.
  • Accurately and efficiently enter billing and charge data.
  • Work with front-desk staff to optimize patient satisfaction.
  • Disinfect and maintain treatment rooms and equipment.
  • Answer phones, take messages, confirm appointments, and perform other front-desk administrative tasks.
  • Collect and complete forms containing patient data for clinical research.
  • Communicate regularly with patients, doctors, and referral sources in a clinical environment, including direct patient care.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Preferred backgrounds include Medical Assistants, Certified Nursing Assistants, Chiropractic Assistants, Physical Therapy Technicians, Rehabilitation Aides, Athletic Trainers, and other patient-care or medical-office professionals.
