Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Business Management, Project Management, or a related field is required, or equivalent combined education and experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in telecommunications or wireless engineering services is required.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience managing technical and operational teams is required.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Tier-1 wireless carriers such as T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, Dish Wireless, or equivalent operators is required.
  • Proven success managing large-scale wireless engineering programs and customer delivery organizations is required.
  • Experience managing profit and loss, budgets, revenue forecasting, and operational performance metrics is required.
  • Strong understanding of wireless network architecture, including 4G LTE and 5G NR, is required.
  • Strong understanding of RF engineering and network optimization is required.
  • Strong understanding of small cell and distributed antenna system solutions is required.
  • Strong understanding of private wireless networks is required.
  • Strong understanding of fixed wireless access is required.
  • Strong understanding of site development and construction processes is required.
  • Strong understanding of network deployment and integration is required.
  • Strong understanding of carrier operational processes and standards is required.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the successful delivery of wireless engineering programs including RF design, network performance, optimization, small cells, distributed antenna systems, private networks, fixed wireless access, site development, construction support, and deployment services.
  • Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously while ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, quality, and budget commitments.
  • Establish project governance, risk management, resource planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Drive operational efficiency through key performance indicator tracking, performance reviews, and continuous process improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accountability for project financials, revenue forecasting, profitability, and resource utilization.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, project managers, and technical specialists.
  • Build a culture of accountability, ownership, collaboration, and customer focus.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, career development discussions, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain engineering talent.
  • Foster employee engagement and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Manage workforce planning and resource allocation to meet customer and business needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic wireless carrier customers.
  • Develop strong executive and operational relationships with customer stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers to identify opportunities, resolve issues, and improve service delivery.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term account retention.
  • Act as a trusted partner by understanding customer priorities, network challenges, and business objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
  • Support sales teams in account expansion strategies and pipeline development.
  • Participate in customer presentations, proposal development, request for proposal responses, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations.
  • Promote end-to-end wireless engineering solutions across RF, site acquisition, construction, integration, optimization, private networks, and emerging technologies.
  • Develop strategic partnerships that expand market presence and revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to drive annual growth objectives.
  • Own regional operational performance and financial targets.
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, staffing plans, and revenue projections.
  • Monitor project margins, utilization rates, and operational key performance indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements and company policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance scalability and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with carrier standards, company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety procedures.
  • Promote a culture of safety and quality throughout all operations.
Desired Qualifications

  • Experience managing geographically distributed teams.
  • Existing relationships within wireless carrier organizations in Northern California.
  • Experience supporting large enterprise, public sector, utility, or private network customers.
  • Knowledge of emerging wireless technologies and industry trends.

Circet Americas has acquired Sunrise Telecom, a provider of outside plant construction and network services for broadband and communications operators across the United States. Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition strengthens Circet Americas' OSP capabilities and expands its geographic reach. It follows recent acquisitions of Blue Streak, CCU, and SourceOne as part of Circet's strategy to build a national OSP platform. Sunrise Telecom specialises in OSP construction, maintenance, and network deployment services. Adam Baumgartner will continue as CEO of Sunrise Telecom under Circet Americas' ownership. Circet Americas operates as the US holding company for Circet, a global infrastructure services specialist. Bill Hogg appointed CEO of Circet USA to lead network infrastructure operations

Circet has appointed Bill Hogg as CEO of Circet USA, effective 11 May 2026. Hogg will oversee the company's inside plant, data centre, wireless and cloud network construction services across North America. Hogg brings over 35 years of network infrastructure experience. He previously founded and led Gigapower, an AT&T and BlackRock joint venture that built one of the largest open-access fibre-to-the-home platforms in the US, and held senior leadership positions at AT&T. Ralph Hernandez continues as CEO of Blue Streak and CCU, Circet's outside plant construction brands. Trevor Putrah, previously CEO of Circet USA, will co-chair the US holding company board alongside Circet Group CEO Philippe Lamazou. Both Hogg and Hernandez will report to the board.
