We are looking for a Training Specialist to join our Anti-Evil team within Safety Enforcement. Anti-Evil is responsible for keeping Reddit a safe and healthy place for all of our users by applying the Reddit rules through content moderation at scale. We partner with a vendor in a multi-site environment to achieve this. As we continue to grow and evolve the types of content moderation work we’re doing, we need a strong team player to join Anti-Evil and directly support building an engaging and impactful learning program to help our enforcement team fight against abuse and other complex moderation issues on our platform.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about and/or have experience in training program design, learning content creation, delivering group or 1:1 training, recorded facilitation, research, data analysis, and vendor partner management.
You will partner with the Safety Enforcement teams (policy enforcement, data science, threat detection and others) as well as Safety Engineering teams (tools), User Research, ML, our Community Team and Trust Policy Team.

Reddit is continuing to grow our teams with the best talent. This role is completely remote-friendly. However, to accommodate the distributed nature of the Anti-Evil Ops team and the rest of Reddit’s workforce, candidates in Ireland(Dublin) or the UK(London) are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Become an expert in the Reddit Content Policy and how we enforce the rules.
- Build and curate training experiences to help policy enforcement agents sharpen their enforcement skills, improve productivity, and reduce enforcement mistakes.
- Leverage data insights and perform analysis to identify training areas in need of improvement.
- Create training plans and strategies utilizing various learning methodologies and technology (e.g., online live training sessions, eLearning courses, wikis, and blended group learning solutions.)
- Partner with Policy Enforcement leads and our vendor subject matter experts to determine training needs, create training content, and develop training materials aligned with our learning objectives.
- Support new agent onboarding and policy enforcement training for cross-functional teams (e.g., Legal Policy, Community, Scaled Abuse, etc.).
- Take ownership of our LMS, including maintenance, development, and course library governance.
- Be a thought partner in how we continuously evolve our training practices.
Who You Might Be:
- 4+ years of industry experience within Trust and Safety or content moderation environments
- 2+ years in a similar training program management style role
- Motivated and self-directed, demonstrated ability to innovate and bias toward action in fast-paced environments
- Demonstrated track record of creating training and knowledge materials from scratch and delivery of facilitated training
- Experience with Learning Management Systems is a plus
- Ability to communicate and discuss complex topics with expert and non-expert audiences; subjects can range from technical issues to challenging policy and training discussions
- Ability to tackle ambiguous and undefined problems
- Strong interpersonal skills
