About the job

Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or a revenue-owning marketing role, with a demonstrable track record of driving annual recurring revenue.
  • Experience running multi-channel, full-funnel campaigns and demonstrating the pipeline and annual recurring revenue they generated.
  • Experience building branded collateral and running campaigns such as e-blasts, webinars, one-pagers, and magazine placements.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce accounts, contacts, campaigns, pipeline tracking, and attribution.
  • Experience working with a sales team to enable it with account intelligence, including marketing-qualified lead signals.
  • Comfort using a customer relationship management system such as Salesforce for accounts, contacts, campaigns, and partner-to-pipeline reporting.
  • Comfort using spreadsheets, lists, and outreach tools, and partnering with a Marketing Engineer on enrichment behind partner-representative data.
  • Ability to work from Redwood City and travel to stores and events as needed.
  • Comfort using artificial intelligence tools to draft collateral, partner outreach, and enablement material.
  • Ability to build audience-focused campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels, including creating assets and managing execution.
  • Ability to connect campaign performance to qualified pipeline and closed-won annual recurring revenue, using conversion data and spend efficiency to recommend improvements.
  • Ability to manage campaign briefs, budgets, timelines, and follow-up; coordinate teammates and vendors; and carry campaigns from planning through launch and results.
  • Ability to collaborate with the Head of Marketing on priorities and channel mix, with Sales and sales development representatives on lead quality and handoffs, and with Data Science on tracking and attribution.
  • Ability to test messaging, audiences, and offers, turn successful approaches into repeatable programs, make recommendations, and adapt based on results.
Responsibilities
  • Translate marketing priorities, target audiences, and revenue goals into campaign plans, channel mixes, budgets, and timelines with the Head of Marketing, and own day-to-day execution from launch through follow-up.
  • Launch and optimize email, website content, social media, digital ads, sponsored email blasts, direct mail, advertorials, and print placements; coordinate third-party coverage and content distribution, connecting each channel to an audience, message, and offer.
  • Create emails, landing pages, advertisements, one-pagers, and case studies with internal teammates and vendors, carrying projects from brief to delivery and keeping campaigns on schedule.
  • Test audiences, messaging, offers, creative, and conversion paths; use results to recommend where to scale, refine, or stop spending in partnership with the Head of Marketing.
  • Build nurture and follow-up programs, and work with Sales and the sales development team on lead handoffs, qualification feedback, and campaign follow-through to improve lead quality and conversion from initial engagement to sales opportunity.
  • Maintain campaign tracking in Salesforce and work with Data Science on attribution and reporting; track spending, engagement, qualified pipeline, and closed-won revenue; share results and recommendations with the Head of Marketing.
  • Document campaign playbooks, maintain the campaign calendar, turn successful tests into repeatable programs, and help scale spending and inbound volume while maintaining execution quality and revenue impact.
  • Plan, launch, and optimize integrated campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels, working with the Head of Marketing to measure performance from engagement through qualified pipeline and closed-won revenue.
  • Develop audience-focused campaigns, coordinate channel mix, and measure performance across partnerships, co-marketing, and broader demand-generation programs.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with paint, hardware, building materials, farm and feed, lawn and garden, or related industries and their media publications, including GIE Media, Lawn & Garden Retailer, Hardware Connection, or Paint and Decorating Retailer.
  • Experience negotiating rate cards, sponsorships, or media placements with trade publications.
  • Experience serving small and medium-sized business or owner-operator customers and, ideally, distributor, co-op, or buying-group ecosystems rather than enterprise customers.

Rundoo and Star Micronics integrate cloud receipt printing for independent retailers.

Rundoo and Star Micronics integrate cloud receipt printing for independent retailers. Oct 12, 2026 Rundoo and Star Micronics integrate cloud receipt printing for independent retailers. Star Micronics and Rundoo announced an integration that enables independent lawn and garden retailers to print receipts from multiple devices without traditional printer drivers or dedicated print servers. The integration connects Star Micronics' TSP143IV thermal receipt printer with Rundoo's point-of-sale (P.O.S.) and business management platform through CloudPRNT and StarIO.Online, Star's managed cloud printing service. Rundoo uses the TSP143IV as its standard receipt printer. The network-connected system allows employees to send receipts to the printer from devices running Chrome, including phones and tablets used throughout a store. The integration also supports cash drawer operation through the printer and automatic receipt printing for incoming online orders. Star's Quick Setup Utility guides retailers through network connection, CloudPRNT activation and StarIO.Online registration. The setup is designed for independent retailers transitioning from older P.O.S. systems while maintaining existing checkout workflows. "With Star, it really isn't," said Titus Capilnean, head of marketing at Rundoo, referring to the challenges of replacing legacy checkout hardware. "The printer connects to the network, Rundoo can print to it from devices across the store, and the cash drawer runs through the same printer." The cloud-connected configuration allows employees to complete transactions away from a fixed checkout counter. Rundoo operates in more than 500 stores across the U.S. and Canada. The integration combines its software with Star's TSP143IV printer, CD4 cash drawer and StarIO.Online service to support receipt printing and cash management without dedicated printing infrastructure. Rundoo runs into $48 million funding.

Rundoo runs into $48 million funding. REDWOOD CITY - Rundoo has raised $30 million in Series B financing led by Battery Ventures, with participation from existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners and CRV, bringing the company's total funding to $48 million. Rundoo provides an AI-first system of record for independent supply stores, supporting the operations of vital small businesses that serve communities across the U.S. and Canada. Discover more Technology News Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence Device Drivers The company, founded in 2021, will use the new funding to grow its engineering team in Redwood City and its go-to-market team in Chicago. Rundoo serves over 500 stores in the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean, and plans to use the funds to invest in additional technology for its clients. Rundoo's technology platform helps independent supply stores better serve customers and compete with corporate big-box stores. Specifically, it provides independent businesses with a unified, AI-first set of tools to operate their business: a point-of-sale system, e-commerce technology, customer relationship management, loyalty programs, general ledger, and more. These tools help owners grow sales, reduce costs, and increase margins. Take a garden center heading into summer. The store's owner can ask Dooey, Rundoo's AI agent, to build a purchase order based on historical sales data, upcoming weather, and known landscaper bids in the area. Dooey can also suggest and market time-bounded promotions for the garden store that it predicts will drive sales - say, 20% off garden hoses through the Fourth of July. This type of analysis and customer outreach, common at larger, nationwide stores, has historically been difficult for smaller retailers to execute. "Our clients supply the materials that allow our communities to build and care for the world around us, and our technology helps them do that better and more efficiently," said Nick Hershey, Rundoo's co-founder and CEO. "With continuing competition from big-box stores, macroeconomic challenges like tariffs and oil shocks, and ever-changing consumer expectations, owning an independent supply store is a challenging endeavor. Our platform gives independent store owners the same operational power that much larger corporations use to grow revenue and expand." Hershey, a former Stanford University math major, started Rundoo with his college roommate Andrew Beckman, who worked as a Silicon Valley software engineer for several years before teaming up with Hershey to start the new company. Hershey worked as a hedge fund trader after college before deciding to focus his efforts on the real economy. To achieve their mission of empowering supply stores with the best technology, Rundoo partners with large distributors and manufacturers, such as Benjamin Moore, a global leader in paint, color and coatings. Rundoo connects directly to Benjamin Moore's tint software so that Benjamin Moore's independent dealers can reliably tint the right color and keep that information on hand for their customers. Every evening, Dooey hands owner Brandon Berry a plain-language recap of the day's activity: top sellers, new customers, unusual returns, and any item that sold below the margin he set. It is the kind of analysis a big chain pays a team to run. "Dooey has become my most trusted partner in the business," says Berry.
