Senior Platform Engineer - DevOps
About the job
- Strong full-stack development skills with TypeScript using React or Angular on the frontend and Python or another backend language on the server side.
- Proven experience delivering production-grade applications and APIs.
- A solid DevOps background, including CI/CD implementation and automation.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and/or Bicep.
- Solid knowledge of containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Experience deploying and integrating with Microsoft Foundry.
- Build and maintain full-stack applications with TypeScript frontends using React or Angular and backend services in Python or other modern backend languages.
- Design and operate cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure using infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and/or Bicep.
- Develop and deploy containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
- Work with Microsoft Foundry to deploy, integrate, and operationalize platform and AI capabilities.
- Ensure reproducibility, traceability, security, and compliance across the application lifecycle.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Container Registry, and Azure Key Vault.
- Familiarity with both React and Angular ecosystems.
- Experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Background in automated testing and deployment for complex applications.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tooling for cloud-native platforms.

Acuity Analytics has acquired Continuus, a US-based data consultancy specialising in financial services. The deal adds 37 specialists and expands Acuity's capabilities across data strategy, governance, engineering and cloud platforms. The transaction, which completed on 1 October, strengthens Acuity's presence in its largest market. Continuus works primarily with asset managers and financial institutions, helping clients develop data strategies and deliver cloud transformation programmes. The acquisition brings Snowflake Premier status and deepens Microsoft expertise to meet demand for platforms like Microsoft Fabric and Databricks. The deal supports Acuity's evolution from a research and analytics business into a technology-led organisation. Following acquisitions of PPA Group in 2024 and Ascent in 2025, the Continuus transaction further expands Acuity's data and technology capabilities. Terms were not disclosed.
