  • A four-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.
  • Two years of relevant experience in a financial institution.
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, and credit union operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, exercise sound professional judgment, and safeguard confidential and sensitive information.
  • General knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • A personal smartphone is required for multi-factor authentication.
  • Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
  • Assist legal department management with the administration of the vendor management program, including program design, maintenance, and reporting.
  • Assist vendor owners with vendor relationships throughout the relationship lifecycle, including onboarding, due diligence, performance metrics monitoring and reporting, escalations, and termination.
  • Assist legal counsel in reviewing contracts and agreements.
  • Maintain and enhance the Business Continuity Program, including annual updates to the business impact analysis, department documentation, and tabletop exercises, including reporting and remediation tracking.
  • Maintain the systems for vendor management, business continuity, and other legal department systems.
  • Perform other legal department duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Power Apps platform.
  • Three years of business continuity, vendor management, and/or general risk management experience in a financial institution.

Atteberry served as Elevations' market president for Northern Colorado from 2021 to 2025. He is now CEO of Strategic Government Resources, a national firm providing executive recruitment, leadership development and consulting services for local governments. Before joining Elevations, Atteberry spent 25 years with the city of Fort Collins. He served as assistant city manager from 1996 to 2004 and city manager from 2004 to 2021. During his tenure, the city received the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. Atteberry has more than three decades of experience across the public, private and nonprofit sectors, including work in Colorado, California, Georgia and Washington. His honors include the Colorado Governor's Citizenship Medal and the International City/County Management Association Award for Career Excellence. He was also named among BizWest's Top 50 Most Influential Business Leaders and Government Technology's Top 25 Doers, Dreamers and Drivers. Atteberry holds master's degrees in civil engineering and city planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a bachelor's degree in city and regional planning from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He attended Harvard University's Senior Executive Program in State and Local Government and is a fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration. Editor's note: BizWest is profiling inductees into the Boulder County Business Hall of Fame Class of 2026. BOULDER - Gerry Agnes, who served as president and CEO of Elevations Credit Union for 17 years, is among nine individuals to be inducted into the Boulder County Business Hall of Fame. The hall's Class of 2026 will be inducted in a ceremony to be held Sept. 30 at the Boulder Jewish Community Center, 6007 Oreg Ave. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. Sponsored Content Other inductees will include Sally and Sandy Bracken, Becky Callan-Gamble and Dean Callan, Rene and Maria Cervantes, Rich Lopez and Denis Nock. Agnes transformed a community financial institution into one of the most-recognized credit unions in the country. Under his leadership, Elevations grew to more than $3.5 billion in assets. He was responsible for authoring and directing the credit union's strategic objectives, which focused on attaining superior performance in employee engagement, member loyalty and top financial results. In the midst of the 2008 financial crisis, he led the charge to pursue the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, which recognizes organizations for performance excellence. The Baldrige effort rallied the Elevations team to outperform both in-market competitors and credit unions nationwide, and in 2014, Elevations was named a Baldrige Award recipient by U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker. Six years later, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Elevations won a second Baldrige award from Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross. With that award, Elevations became the first two-time recipient in Colorado history and the ninth two-time recipient in the history of the award. Agnes was named the Credit Union Executive Society's Outstanding Chief Executive in 2015. A year later, he was named the Mountain West Credit Union Association's Credit Union Professional of the Year and the Boulder Chamber's Business Person of the Year. In 2020, he received the Baldrige Foundation Award of Leadership Excellence. A certified public accountant with 41 years of professional experience, Agnes held positions as president, chief operating officer and chief financial officer at various community financial institutions in California. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and accounting from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He was appointed to the Colorado Financial Services Board by then-Gov. John Hickenlooper in 2015 and reappointed by Gov. Jared Polis in 2019. Agnes received other appointments as well in 2019, being named to the Board of Overseers for the Baldrige award, the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City's Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council, the Credit Union National Association's CEO Council Executive Committee and the Credit Union Executives Society Board of Directors. Agnes also served on the board of Elevations Foundation, which became the Local Change Foundation, and was a fixture in Boulder's business community for nearly two decades. Repeatedly recognized as one of BizWest's Most Influential Business Leaders, he retired in February. The Hall of Fame inductees' contributions span commercial real estate, financial services, immigrant entrepreneurship, civic leadership, higher education and community investment. Inductees are evaluated by a selection committee that considers the nominee's business achievements, community impact, ethical leadership and lasting contributions to Boulder County's economic and social fabric. Elevations Credit Union names 2 new execs. BOULDER - Two new executives have joined Elevations Credit Union. Veronica Riojas, formerly a senior vice president overseeing the Boulder-based credit union's retail network and member experience, has been promoted to chief retail officer, in charge of branches, the contact center, digital banking, and wealth management. Meanwhile, Deron Streitenberger will become chief information officer at Elevations, leading its technology strategy including cybersecurity and digital infrastructure. "Veronica is not only a champion of our members but a fervent advocate of our employees and culture," Michael Calcote, Elevations' president and CEO, said in a prepared statement. "Her authenticity and genuine care for members and employees alike have been instrumental in cultivating the vibrant culture of the teams she leads." Elevations Credit Union partners with Spiral to enable members to save and donate through debit card roundups

Elevations Credit Union, a Colorado-based financial institution with over $3 billion in assets and 180,000 members, has partnered with Spiral to enable members to automatically save and support local causes through everyday purchases. The integration embeds Spiral's Roundup Centre into Elevations' digital banking platform, allowing members to round up debit card purchases and direct spare change toward savings goals or charitable contributions. Members can split roundups between personal savings and donations to the Local Change Foundation, which supports causes including affordable housing, education and mental health. The platform provides real-time impact tracking and tax-deductible receipts. Spiral, backed by investors including Team8 and Curql, serves over 45 financial institutions and has been recognised as a Top 50 FinTech Company.
