IT Business Solutions Architect

Hypertherm Associates seeks a Business Solutions Architect with a focus on global manufacturing operations and supply chain management to join our 100% Associate-owned manufacturing company.
Ways you as the Architect will be empowered to shape our future:
Proactively and holistically guide the business through transformation and optimization initiatives, supporting the formulation of business strategy, outcomes and capabilities from an Information Technology perspective to achieve targeted business outcomes related to growing revenue, optimizing costs, mitigating risks and improving sustainability.
Focus on developing the enterprise technology strategy, ecosystem (portfolio), roadmap, architecture, and architecture governance of the organization through understanding the concepts of business goals, objectives and business outcomes, business capabilities, value-streams, and business processes and their importance in solution architecture.
Provide technology leadership, analysis and design tasks to support the development of technology solutions to ensure that solutions meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards.
Who you are and the experience you will bring:
BA/BS with 3+ years’ (Associate Architect), 5+ years’ (Architect) and 8+ years (Sr. Architect) experience in solution architecture
Experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including technical or infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or cloud development
Knowledge of global manufacturing and supply chain operations and processes/value streams
Knowledge of enterprise applications, cloud platforms and services; API/Microservice integrations, data lake, AI, process automation and/or digital workplace technologies.
Familiarity with IT infrastructure and operations, information and system development life cycle management practices
Ability to communicate, influence, and persuade at all levels of the enterprise
Written and verbal communication skills; Analytical and technical skills; Planning and organizational skills
Understanding of DevOps, product management, agile principles, development methodologies and EA frameworks
Highly collaborative, and supportive of the business and of its ideals and strategies. Ability to work effectively in a team and cross-functional team environment
Highly innovative with aptitude for foresight, systems thinking and design thinking. Motivated by long-term results and achieving targeted business outcomes
Preferred experience that differentiates you:
Master’s degree or MBA 5+ years’ experience
Project Management
Location: Hanover, NH OR Kent, Washington (onsite) (relocation assistance is available)
Travel Approximately 10% to Hypertherm locations

This is the base pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire.
Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors.
