- Understanding of desktop support and services.
- Understanding of Active Directory, user authentication and authorization, and identity and access management.
- Ability to automate and streamline processes and procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot systematically, identify symptoms, research causes, test changes, and put changes into production.
- Understanding of basic networking principles and network troubleshooting, including DHCP, DNS, PING, NSLOOKUP, NETSTAT, and OSPF.
- Ability and experience to work with SCCM version 2012 and demonstrate its use to others.
- Ability to script with PowerShell 3.0 or above, including validation, editing, input and output, and automation to production systems, specifically Active Directory.
- Ability to learn Varonis to clean up and audit unstructured user data, Active Directory, and NTFS permissions.
- Strong communication, influence, collaboration, negotiation, organizational, analytical, planning, problem-solving, decision-making, prioritization, facilitation, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and meet assigned deadlines.
- Knowledge of the English language and ability to speak clearly and understandably in English.
- Twelve total years of information technology experience.
- Seven years of SCCM or SMS-like experience.
- Five years of PowerShell scripting experience in a production environment.
- Ten years of customer service experience.
- Ten years of troubleshooting experience.
- Ten years of knowledge of networking technologies, including PING, NETSTAT, DHCP, OSPF, DNS, and NSLOOKUP.
- Eight years of experience with Active Directory.
- Ability to contribute to continuous process improvements that increase section efficiency.
- Help IT automate and implement new technology to keep the desktop environment current and running optimally.
- Support and maintain desktop services and the desktop environment.
- Test and implement changes in production systems.
- Collaborate with supporting resources across business and functional lines.
- A+ certification series.
- Microsoft certifications.
- PowerShell 3.0 scripting background.
- Certifications in Microsoft tools and technologies.
- Certification or classes in SCCM.
- Knowledge of ITIL and IT service management tools.
- Knowledge of Flexera Corporate Software Inspector.
