About the job
- Relevant higher education or a technical course in IT.
- Availability for on-site work, on-call duty (normally one week per month), and travel.
- Valid driving licence.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
- General knowledge of networking and communications, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, network cabling, Wi-Fi, switching, and routing.
- General knowledge of security.
- Proven experience with Windows workstations, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
- Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including usage and customization.
- Knowledge of IPTV, satellite, and VoIP technologies.
- Knowledge of CCTV.
- Experience with firewall and routing technologies.
- Knowledge of M365, Entra ID, and Intune administration.
- Knowledge of ITIL and IT service management solutions such as OSticket, ServiceDesk, or EasyVista.
- Experience with first-line application support.
- Support equipment, solutions, and services across the group's companies, including corporate operations, vessels, and group clients.
- Install IT solutions and participate in the IT component of ship construction.
- Provide support in person at the office or group facilities, or remotely by phone or appropriate tools; undertake on-call duty and travel outside business hours when required.
- Respond promptly to support requests in accordance with applicable service-level agreements.
- Provide preventive responses and actions using monitoring and alert services to minimize or mitigate failures and incidents.
- Take corrective action for equipment or service failures according to service-management priorities.
- Create and manage access to the group's IT systems.
- Manage the IT inventory and record equipment or service changes.
- Record incidents, events, and problems to support continuous service improvement.
- Write and manage the technical support knowledge base for first- and second-line support.
- CCNA certification is welcomed.
