Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related discipline and/or certificate of completion of studies is required
  • 1 - 3 years experience inventory planning, operations/supply chain, retail, project management, and/or ecommerce , with a history of driving/owning results
  • 2 years experience with data analysis, problem solving or project management
  • Strong business judgement and excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects through prioritization and planning
  • Experience working with large data sets to drive business decisions
  • Track record of delivering results and an ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Strong ownership, bias for action, and discipline in establishing and improving processes
  • Ability to work in a highly cross-functional team environment (including technical, commercial, and operations teams), chasing down and following up on dependencies, mitigating risks, and escalating when necessary
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Strong analytical skills with working knowledge in analytics tools including Microsoft Excel
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the instock function including forecasting, ordering, capacity management, instock rates and unhealthy inventory management
  • Develop and improve ordering strategies for your categories to ensure Gopuff meets the customer experience, sales, margin, and inventory turns targets
  • Manage activities toward buying automation and system auditing in partnership with technical and product teams
  • Manage activities on supply chain optimization and defects reduction working with operations teams
  • Report, monitor, analyze and own key performance indicators such as out of stock percentages, vendor lead time, fill rate, unhealthy inventory and forecast accuracy for your categories

  • SQL and Oracle working knowledge is a plus
