Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience in security operations, identity and access administration, or a related technical role.
  • Experience with cloud-native enterprise services.
  • Understanding of identity and access management concepts, including authentication, authorization, least privilege, and role-based access control.
  • Hands-on experience with privileged access management, specifically endpoint privilege management involving local administrator rights and elevation.
  • Experience running or supporting access reviews and access certifications and removing unneeded access.
  • Familiarity with SOC 1, SOC 2, or SOX compliance frameworks and collecting audit evidence.
  • Ability to triage alerts from a security information and event management system or endpoint security tooling and follow documented response procedures.
  • Experience administering or supporting a security-awareness or phishing-simulation platform.
  • Ability to operate established programs and processes under direction while contributing improvement ideas.
  • Ability to manage recurring deadlines across multiple workstreams and document processes clearly.
Responsibilities
  • Run recurring user access reviews, coordinate with system owners to certify access, and remove stale or over-provisioned entitlements across environments.
  • Gather, organize, and validate evidence for compliance testing and audits, building evidence packets that trace access and changes from request through approval.
  • Administer the privileged access management program with oversight, including endpoint privilege management, local administrator elevation, least-privilege policies, and just-in-time endpoint access within approved guardrails.
  • Support approved, time-bound, and reviewed privileged access through Azure Privileged Identity Management, including role assignments and periodic recertification of privileged identities.
  • Triage and respond to security operations alerts from the SIEM and endpoint tooling, escalating, documenting, and helping close incidents.
  • Administer the security-awareness program, including building, scheduling, and reporting on phishing simulations and assigning follow-up training.
  • Maintain procedures, standards, and documentation for access reviews, privileged access, and related security operations workflows.
  • Apply a risk-based approach, surface pain points, and recommend continuous-improvement ideas for security programs and processes.
  • Partner with IT operations, engineering, and compliance teams to close access and process gaps and mature the security posture.
  • Perform other security operations tasks as directed, including detection tuning, vulnerability-remediation tracking, and tooling evaluations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Azure Privileged Identity Management and Azure role-based access control.
  • Experience with an endpoint privilege management solution such as CyberArk EPM, Admin By Request, or BeyondTrust.
  • Experience administering Okta and Microsoft 365 or Entra ID.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel or another SIEM and basic Kusto Query Language.
  • Experience with a security-awareness platform.
  • Security certifications such as Security+, SC-900, SC-300, or CySA+, or cloud certifications such as AZ-500.

Coterie Insurance appoints Mark Seich as chief revenue officer to accelerate growth

Coterie Insurance, a tech-enabled managing general agent specialising in commercial property and casualty insurance for small businesses, has appointed Mark Seich as Chief Revenue Officer. Seich will oversee revenue strategy across distribution, agency engagement, marketing and customer experience to accelerate profitable growth in the independent agency channel. Seich brings over 15 years of insurance leadership experience.
