Public Safety CAD/RMS Systems Consultant
About the job
- At least 5 years of professional experience implementing or managing public safety computer-aided dispatch and records management systems.
- Knowledge of Criminal Justice Information Services Security Policy and National Incident-Based Reporting System reporting.
- Experience with law enforcement or emergency communications operations.
- Comfort working as a 1099 project-based consultant.
- Document dispatch, records, and field reporting workflows and requirements.
- Evaluate computer-aided dispatch, records management, and mobile solutions and their integration with National Crime Information Center and state systems, including National Incident-Based Reporting System reporting.
- Plan data conversion, interfaces, and Criminal Justice Information Services-compliant hosting.
- Support implementation, testing, training, and go-live.
- Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when authorized to be named.
- Campus or university police experience.
- Experience with major computer-aided dispatch and records management vendors, including Tyler, Motorola, Hexagon, or CentralSquare.
- Former dispatcher, records supervisor, or public safety information technology lead.
