Responsibilities
  • Design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and electro-mechanical systems
  • Testing and troubleshooting system level and component level problems in electrical and mechanical systems
  • Performing new system and NPI installations and field upgrades
  • Compiling logbooks and test procedures documentation
  • Assisting in revising, developing, and implementing department procedures
  • Performing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & vacuum, and process testing on AMAT platforms
  • Observing safety standards and maintaining a secure, safe, clean, and healthy work environment
  • Becoming familiar with current manufacturing and/or engineering processes and staying informed of any changes in procedures
  • Assisting in the correction of problems
  • Performing necessary rework and assisting in determining remedies for malfunctions and generating Quality Notifications
