Requirements
  • A four-year bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with an emphasis in accounting is required.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant accounting or finance experience is required.
  • Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting under United States generally accepted accounting principles is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet month-end and quarter-end close and reporting deadlines are required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the team with the month-end closing process for general ledger accounting for domestic entities.
  • Prepare, park, and save journal entries in SAP.
  • Prepare, monitor, and maintain monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for revenue-related, ASC 842 lease-related, and other general ledger accounts, ensuring timely review and approval.
  • Maintain and manage the Contract Lease Management module in SAP.
  • Assist in preparing support for quarterly financial statements, including statement of cash flow support schedules.
  • Coordinate and gather information from team members and prepare interim and year-end audit schedules requested by external auditors.
  • Assist with internal controls walkthroughs and testing.
  • Assist in designing and executing effective internal controls to ensure appropriate accounting treatment for company transactions.
  • Prepare monthly flux analysis.
  • Maintain documentation of company-wide accounting policies and procedures.
  • Assist the domestic team in developing, maintaining, and monitoring accounting practices to ensure compliance with United States generally accepted accounting principles and company policies.
  • Review and analyze revenue contracts and sales arrangements to ensure proper revenue accounting treatment in accordance with United States generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Participate in the monthly and quarterly customer revenue rebate process, including accurate and timely accruals and payments.
  • Complete surveys and forms requested by authoritative agencies in a timely manner as needed.
  • Assist with Delaware franchise tax payments and annual reporting.
  • Participate in implementing accounting system enhancements.
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests as assigned.
