About the job
- Prior professional experience in senior care or specialized memory care is required.
- A valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and active auto insurance are required.
- Ability to assist with activities of daily living and dementia care is required.
- Ability to provide mobility assistance, transfers, and physical support of up to 100–150 pounds is required.
- Reliable transportation is required to drive clients in their vehicle.
- A smartphone with internet access is required.
- Certifications such as Certified Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, CPR, First Aid, and AED are preferred but not required.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, hygiene, and nutrition or meal preparation.
- Provide tailored support for clients with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and clients receiving hospice care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment through light housekeeping and hourly care, and provide meaningful engagement and companionship.
- Escort clients safely to medical appointments, errands, and outings.
