ProSidian Seeks a Senior Quality Assurance Inspector - QA & QC headquartered near Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina to support an engagement for Nuclear Energy Sector Clients The Savannah River Site (SRS), a 310 square mile (198,046 acres) Department of Energy site, is located in the sand-hills region of South Carolina.
This *** | Exempt position currently best aligns with the Senior Quality Assurance Inspector QA QC 104 Labor Category and ideal candidates exhibit the ability to visualize, analyze, and convert data and experiences to meet performance challenges while confidently engaging in productive “Jugaad” and dialogue targeting mission success. ProSidian Team Members work to provide temporary staffing support services to support Savannah River Remediation (SRR), the Liquid Waste (LW) Contractor located at the Department of Energy Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC 29808. Services anticipated includes storage, integration, treatment and disposition of the liquid radioactive waste being managed at the Savannah River Site (DOE).
Senior Quality Assurance Inspector - QA & QC Candidates shall work to support requirements for 0 and The Senior Quality Assurance Inspector QA QC 104 works to plan, perform and document independent inspections in accordance with documented procedures, established acceptance criteria (standards), and industry practices, as defined in the implementing documents, and perform verification of corrective actions.
If required, must be able to work/support shift activities (normally a rotating 12.2 hour shift). Also, must be able to work overtime as approved and directed by management.
The Senior Quality Assurance Inspector - QA & QC shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. All employees, in the performance of their respective responsibilities, shall conduct themselves in the highest possible standards of ethical and business conduct. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.
Past or current inspection certifications to site requirements (Manual 1Q-Procedure 2-5) as a Level II Inspector in the Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) disciplines.
Inspection experience in the site Liquid Waste Organization is a plus.
Obtained qualification/certification for the Division Specific Limited Certification Areas (LCAs) as defined in the "Quality Assurance Inspector Training and Qualification Program Description." A senior quality assurance (QA)/quality control (QC) inspector is a management-level worker who ensures the safety and reliability of manufactured goods, construction projects, or engineered systems. This person ensures that at every step of the process, what they’re inspecting meets with all standards necessary to continue the engineering or contracting process(es). In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
A 40 hour work week schedule is anticipated for this position. Work week excludes SRR holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute lunch. Over Time (OT) may be required as necessary. Standard Facilities Access required and a security clearance may be required for this position
TRAVEL: Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements. Travel is coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations. LOCATION: Work shall be conducted at or in proximity to Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina
