Requirements
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and physically located within the United States.

  • Applicants must be comfortable using Zoom and web-based applications and communicating with clients by phone and video.
  • Applicants must be willing to complete required training and obtain the appropriate state Life and Health Insurance License.
  • Candidates must complete applicable pre-licensing coursework, examinations, and state licensing requirements at their own expense.
  • Candidates should be able to communicate clearly and professionally, build trust and relationships, listen actively, solve problems, organize their time, learn new technology, work independently from home, collaborate with a virtual team, receive coaching and feedback, and provide ethical, client-focused service.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct scheduled Zoom and phone appointments with individuals and families interested in available benefits.
  • Ask questions to understand client needs and priorities, listen to concerns, and explain benefits and coverage clearly and professionally.
  • Assist eligible clients with applications and enrollment, conduct applicable policy and benefit reviews, and help with beneficiary-related service needs.
  • Follow up with prospective and existing clients, maintain accurate digital records, provide ongoing customer support, and build long-term client relationships.
  • Once appropriately licensed, conduct virtual benefit consultations, identify individual and family protection needs, explain coverage features, help clients compare options, and provide needs-based recommendations.
  • Guide clients through enrollment, complete required documentation, assist with beneficiary information, and provide continued service after enrollment.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience in customer service, military service, veteran support, healthcare, hospitality, retail, education, administrative support, banking, call centers, client relations, financial services, account management, recruiting, or sales may transfer well.
