Responsibilities
  • Provide professional and responsive support to internal customers and external agencies through email, phone, Salesforce, and web conferencing.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve student account balances and debt concerns using thoughtful, solution-oriented questions.
  • Process Direct Bill, VA education benefits, and accounts receivable transactions accurately using appropriate systems.
  • Serve as a VA School Certifying Official support resource by assisting with certification, enrollment reporting, and ongoing compliance with VA regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, and institutional military funding guidelines.
  • Support military student finance operations involving tuition assistance, VA benefits, and third-party billing.
  • Maintain accurate and timely VA enrollment certifications, adjustments, and reporting in accordance with federal requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with Title IV and military education benefits requirements.
  • Identify process-improvement opportunities and contribute to continuous organizational growth and change initiatives within military student finance workflows.
  • Complete required training and certifications to maintain access to vendor systems and federal agencies, including VA systems such as Enrollment Manager.
  • Partner cross-functionally to resolve student account inquiries using knowledge of military benefits, federal regulations, finance, and higher education policies.
  • Participate in team meetings, special projects, and organizational initiatives.
  • Perform regular account reconciliation and proactive follow-up to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Meet established service-level agreements and performance benchmarks.
  • Maintain an annual quality-assurance accuracy rating of at least 95%.
  • Communicate with team members and leadership.
  • Perform additional assigned duties while adhering to policies and standards.
