Requirements
  • Experience with machine wiring, industrial control panels, electrical troubleshooting, reading electrical schematics, and National Electrical Code-compliant wiring practices.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, work around machinery, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
  • Build and wire custom automation equipment according to electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Assemble electrical components and machine wiring to customer specifications.
  • Install and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems and control circuits.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Wire control panels, field devices, motors, sensors, and electrical components.
  • Troubleshoot wiring issues and electrical faults during machine build and startup.
  • Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code standards and quality requirements.
  • Document electrical changes and communicate issues with the project team.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Support project milestones while meeting quality, schedule, and customer expectations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Four or more years of industrial electrical or machine tool wiring experience.
  • A Journeyman Electrician card.
  • Vocational or technical electrical training.
  • Experience with automotive automation, machine tool builders, industrial automation integrators, programmable logic controller control panels, production equipment assembly, and major automation projects.
