Responsibilities
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the agency's creative leadership and work closely with creative teams, primarily across North America, to shape and shepherd how we position/package creative campaigns so they land in culture and attract attention within the marketing industry
  • Will be proactive, resourceful, persistent when it comes to engaging with creative teams to injecting earned first thinking into ideas throughout the creative process, not just before a campaign launch. This includes tracking major campaigns that are in development across the region
  • Drive the making of materials and assets to promote creative work with a focus on generating ideas that go beyond the formulaic approaches to promoting creative campaigns
  • Be able to pitch creative campaigns and brand stories to tier one business/consumer media journalists as appropriate. Can supervise the pitching of campaigns to leading trade publications
  • Elevate the profile of select agency leaders and next-gen talent by identifying external opportunities that highlight the agency's creative capabilities, talent, and thought leadership. This includes identifying speaking opportunities, interviews, op-eds, and panels that showcase their expertise
  • Help identify opportunities to raise visibility and build the reputation of key client partners in the market (creatively ambitious CMOs, senior clients, etc)
  • Be a trend spotter who can collaborate with marketing team on editorial planning for The Red Papers, Ogilvy's trademark thought-leadership platform, and other content development
  • As a senior member of the Communications team, will contribute to developing the agency's communications strategy and implementation plan
  • Can be “on point” to direct media requests when the Global Chief Communications Officer is not available
