Requirements
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • 2 + years of relevant real estate transactional experience, preferably with a significant portion at a large law firm ("Big Law")
  • Proven experience in handling complex real estate acquisitions, sales, and financings
  • Strong understanding of real estate markets and financing structures, including experience with loan documentation and security instruments
  • Experience representing lenders, borrowers, or both in real estate financing transactions
  • Knowledge of AI Tools and curiosity about cutting-edge technology implementation

Responsibilities
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, loan documents, and other transactional documents
  • Supporting all legal aspects of real estate transactions, including due diligence, title and survey review, and closing logistics
  • Constructing efficient processes by employing AI and cutting-edge technology to optimize legal operations including workflows, document automation, and compliance solutions
  • Providing legal advice and support to internal business teams on real estate-related matters
  • Structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex real estate financing transactions, including mortgage loans, mezzanine financing, construction loans, and refinancing arrangements
  • Supporting real estate fund formation, compliance, and investment activities, including reviewing and negotiating fund documentation and advising on regulatory requirements
  • Managing and coordinating with outside counsel as needed
  • Preparing and reviewing organizational documents, including certificates of formation, operating agreements, and corporate resolutions
  • Assisting with entity formation, qualification, and maintenance across multiple jurisdictions
  • Maintaining and updating corporate records and organizational charts
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage legal tech and AI tools, including contract review and analysis, matter management, document automation, legal spend and compliance solutions
  • Coordinate with real estate, finance, and other departments to align legal processes with broader business operations
  • Help build and maintain legal knowledge bases, FAQs, and self-service tools for internal stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with real estate investment funds, including fund formation, investor negotiations, and regulatory compliance
  • Familiarity with joint venture structures and equity investments for real estate transactions
  • Experience with construction contracts, real estate leasing and landlord-tenant matters
  • Experience with real estate transactions in the Middle East or Europe
