About the job
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- At least two years of accounting work experience.
- Solid command of International Financial Reporting Standards and Chinese Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, proficiency in preparing financial statements, and a thorough understanding of end-to-end financial processes and finance systems.
- Ability to communicate proficiently in Chinese and English, verbally and in writing, including face-to-face interactions.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong team-player mindset.
- Time management and task prioritization skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Skill in data visualization using Power BI, with practical experience working on enterprise resource planning systems and finance digital platforms.
- Execute daily and monthly general ledger operations and complete period-end closing activities, including accruals, balance sheet reconciliation, and suspense account clearing.
- Coordinate period-end closing arrangements and monitor closing workflows according to predefined timetables.
- Prepare and submit financial statements and other ad hoc reports requested by local management and headquarters in a timely manner.
- Provide financial support to local business partners in accordance with regional requirements, and assist the tax team with statutory reporting and tax filings.
- Coordinate internally on filing topics.
- Administer Bonaparte approvals.
- Undertake other tasks assigned by the general ledger team lead and finance manager.
- Exposure across multiple finance functions is preferred.
- Data analysis experience or a relevant background is a plus.
