About the job
- A Bachelor's degree.
- At least 3 years of software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with microservices, event-driven, or other cloud-native architecture.
- At least 2 years of experience with one or more of the following cloud providers: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Work with platform architecture team members to understand and implement functionality for new solutions.
- Analyze problems and implement solutions that trade off architectural constraints involving functionality, usability, performance, reliability, cost, and scalability.
- Design and implement modern single-page application web-based user interfaces using best practices such as responsive design to support new functionality.
- Write and modify representational state transfer application programming interfaces using modern application development frameworks such as Spring, Micronaut, and .NET Core.
- Design and implement new databases and use other forms of storage to persist application data.
- Leverage messaging technologies to implement loosely coupled message-based systems.
- Deliver application enhancements as part of a continuous delivery methodology.
- Program and execute unit test cases using test-driven development practices.
- Support the full lifecycle of application development, including requirements gathering, design, functional and non-functional testing, release, and operations.
- Develop technical documentation to support operations and security audit processes.
- Comply with development guidelines covering coding, change control, build, and versioning.
- Participate in peer code reviews.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and methodologies.
- Google Professional Data Engineer certification, AWS Developer Associate certification, or Azure MCSA: Cloud Platform with a development focus.
- Experience working on applications at scale.
