THE JOB:

Join our team at MGM Springfield as a Kitchen Technician in our industrial kitchens! As a key member of our maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on all kitchen equipment to ensure seamless operations. Conducting daily inspections of our BOH kitchens and equipment will also be a priority, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences. STARTING RATE: $35.45 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Individual will be tasked with ensuring the optimal performance and safety of all industrial kitchen equipment by conducting repairs, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine maintenance.
• A strong understanding of all Industrial Kitchen Equipment and electrical components, as well as the ability to diagnose problems quickly and efficiently.
• Individual will oversee the Preventive Maintenance schedule for the Kitchens and Service Bars, ensuring all equipment is functioning optimally. This role includes conducting regular inspections of PCUs (Packaged Combination Units) and managing the scheduling and execution of filter changes and replacements to maintain operational efficiency and safety standards.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Technical proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
• Familiarity with reading technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
• Able to prioritize importance of repairs
• Has 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience or a minimum of 2 yrs experience on industrial kitchen equipment
