  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization across Sales, R&D, Product Marketing, and Program Management, driving alignment and decisions without direct authority.
Responsibilities
  • Own the pre-sales technical lifecycle for Interface IP opportunities across Korea, including requirements discovery, solution definition, technical presentations, customer evaluation and proof-of-concept planning, and technical close.
  • Work directly with customer SoC architects and design teams to understand requirements and constraints, then recommend appropriate Interface IP solutions, including SerDes, PCIe, DDR, USB, MIPI, D2D, and Ethernet.
  • Lead technical evaluations and IP selection processes by defining success criteria, evaluation plans, configuration recommendations, integration approaches, and risk mitigation for performance, power, area, and schedule.

  • Accelerate IP adoption and customer success across Korea, influencing design wins and long-term partnerships.
  • Increase technical win rates through effective discovery, successful evaluations, and clear technical differentiation in competitive cycles.
  • Reduce escalations and project friction by identifying gaps between customer expectations and product capabilities and working across teams to close them.
  • Strengthen credibility with customer engineering teams and executives through clear, data-driven recommendations and execution-focused guidance.
  • Influence IP roadmaps and service offerings by representing field perspectives and customer requirements in internal strategy discussions.
  • Independently diagnose customer integration issues, determine whether they stem from a design problem, configuration gap, or misunderstanding of the specification, and propose a path forward.
  • Present technical recommendations to senior customer executives and defend positions with data, examples, and clear reasoning.
  • Build customer trust and credibility through long-term partnerships.
  • Stay current on technology trends such as chiplets, advanced packaging, AI accelerators, and next-generation connectivity to anticipate customer needs.
  • Manage multiple customer engagements in parallel, maintain details, and follow through on commitments.
  • Determine when to involve R&D or Sales and when to handle issues directly to maintain momentum and customer confidence.
Desired Qualifications
  • Program management or project leadership experience on complex SoC or IP integration efforts, especially across multiple sites or time zones.

About the company

Synopsys provides software tools and services for electronic design automation (EDA), helping engineers design, simulate, verify, and optimize semiconductor chips and systems. Its products cover the full design flow, including RTL-to-gating synthesis, place-and-route, timing analysis, verification, and silicon validation, as well as software integrity solutions and hardware-assisted verification. Engineers use these tools to model, simulate, and validate complex chip designs before manufacturing, reducing bugs and improving performance. Compared with many competitors, Synopsys differentiates itself through its broad, end-to-end design toolchain, large ecosystem of IP and integration with simulation and modeling capabilities gained from its 2025 merger with ANSYS, and its global scale and support. The company aims to help designers push the boundaries of chip and system performance, accelerate time-to-market, and enable silicon-to-systems design across a wide range of industries.

Synopsys eyes $17B revenue by 2030 as AI shifts to profit gains, but valuation leaves little room

Synopsys could benefit as AI spending shifts from building data centres to boosting efficiency, one analyst argues. The chip-design software maker would be her pick through 2030. Synopsys signed a multi-year licensing deal worth more than $1 billion with Amazon for custom chip IP. Its $34.9 billion Ansys acquisition is expected to add $400 million in annualised revenue by fiscal 2029. Management targets 15% annual revenue growth through fiscal 2030, which would lift revenue to nearly $17 billion. Design IP revenue, however, fell 0.7% in the first nine months of fiscal 2026. Shares trade at about 27 times projected fiscal 2027 adjusted earnings. At 20 times 2030 earnings, the stock could reach about $745, or 46% upside; at 15 times, about $559, or 10%.
