- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is preferred.
- Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse is preferred.
- An additional life-support credential such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification, or another clinical specialty certification for specific units, is preferred.
- Visual color acuity may be required depending on the role in specific units.
- Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
- Provide care within the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
