Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Joe’s opened its first store since 2019 in Beverly Hills during February 2026.
  • Angela Lee joined in 2026 to scale sales after strong Frame experience.
  • Joe’s 25th-anniversary relaunch combines celebrity-led branding with renewed direct-to-consumer focus.

What critics are saying

  • WHP owns Joe’s IP while Centric licenses operations, creating strategic fragility.
  • Joe’s still leans on wholesale; a premium denim slowdown hits channel partners first.
  • If the Beverly Hills flagship underperforms, Joe’s DTC reset becomes an expensive distraction.

What makes JOE'S Jeans unique

  • Joe’s Jeans built a fit-first denim reputation since 2001 in Los Angeles.
  • Dani Michelle’s February 2024 creative-director role injects celebrity styling credibility and reach.
  • Centric Brands’ operating platform gives Joe’s manufacturing, licensing, and wholesale infrastructure.
