We're currently looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a casual basis. Whether you're looking for additional shifts, flexibility around other commitments, or a clinic where you can continue to grow your skills, we'd love to hear from you.

This role would suit a Certificate II or Certificate IV qualified Veterinary Nurse who is confident in their nursing abilities and comfortable working independently when required.

About the Role

As a Veterinary Nurse, you'll play an important role in supporting both our patients and our veterinary team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting veterinarians during consultations and procedures
• Monitoring anaesthesia and supporting surgical patients
• Administering medications and treatments
• Collecting samples and performing diagnostic testing
• Providing nursing care for hospitalised patients
• Maintaining patient records and treatment plans
• Supporting clients through routine visits and more challenging situations
• Managing admissions and discharges
• Maintaining clinic hygiene, equipment, and treatment areas
• Assisting with reception duties when required
• Delivering outstanding patient care and customer service

As this is a casual role, we're looking for someone who can confidently work both as part of a team and independently when required. The ability to manage your workload, use initiative, and maintain high standards of patient care while working solo is essential.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds a Certificate II or Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
• Has previous clinical veterinary nursing experience
• Is confident and capable working independently when needed
• Has strong medical and surgical nursing skills
• Demonstrates excellent animal handling abilities
• Communicates effectively with clients and colleagues
• Is organised, reliable, and proactive
• Enjoys working as part of a supportive team
• Brings a positive attitude and genuine passion for animal care

Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys building relationships with clients, advocating for your patients, and contributing positively to team culture.
