Requirements
  • Attain and maintain the appropriate state property and casualty license within 60 days of hire.
  • Successfully complete customer service, club and travel, and payment-processing training within six months of hire.
  • Provide customer-focused service and service insurance policies, including processing applications, renewals, and amendments.
  • Take payments, process monetary transactions, and respond to billing and coverage questions.
  • Promote insurance, travel, and membership products and conduct outbound promotional calls.
  • Use computer software applications such as Word and Excel and web-based operations.
  • Know insurance and travel terminology, general insurance and travel regulations, underwriting procedures, sales regulatory and compliance guidelines, and relevant travel, insurance, and membership systems.
  • Communicate effectively with others in a work environment.
  • Perform mathematical calculations accurately for monetary transactions.
  • Work effectively in a team environment and maintain professional, efficient customer service and an orderly workstation and office facility.
  • Work irregular hours, including holidays and weekends, and work under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced customer-service environment.
  • Maintain the appropriate state property and casualty license.
Responsibilities
  • Service insurance policies and process applications, renewals, and amendments.
  • Sell travel, tours, airline tickets, and membership products.
  • Provide members with complete travel itineraries and relevant triptiks, brochures, tour books, maps, travel information, and recreation information according to approved procedures.
  • Provide cashiering services, including taking insurance, travel, and membership payments; selling tickets and travel-money products; processing remittance and depository transfers; and balancing the cash drawer.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and refer members to an agent when appropriate.
  • Provide administrative support to travel and insurance agents during peak periods.
  • Assist management with the basic training of less senior personnel.
  • Conduct outbound promotional calls and promote auto club group products and services according to established guidelines.
  • Resolve member and customer complaints and seek management assistance when necessary.
  • Participate in office events that generate revenue, improve member awareness of products, and support local community activities.
Desired Qualifications
  • Hold the appropriate state life, accident, and health license.
  • Have travel accreditation, such as Disney College of Knowledge, destination specialties, or Certified Travel Associate certification.
  • Have experience with touring procedures, including developing auto-travel routings, marked maps, and triptiks.
  • Have experience with club and travel promotions, including selling travel, club, and membership products and services.
  • Have experience promoting Auto Club Group insurance using established guidelines.
