Applied Materials’ Micron Account Team is searching for an intern to join our team in summer 2024! The field sales operations team is located in Boise, Idaho supporting an industry leading customer. The position will entail the following:
- Working within existing processes to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all sales and business reports, views, dashboards, and user data, such as Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports, sales booking and revenue numbers, including commits, targets, overrides and disconnects.
- Implementing new business reports within the established reporting framework, policies, and procedures.
- Training and supporting end users on accessing of reports and business processes.
- Providing business continuity support for any issues related to sales processes, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, forecast etc.
- Supporting Global Business Alignment Process.
- Extracting financial, statistical, and other data from various information systems and other sources.
- Developing customized reports for executive and customer presentation.
- Educating and training user community on the potential uses of the business intelligence system.
- Working with Applied Materials and customer confidential data.
Requirements
- Student must be at least a Junior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree program in Business or related field
- Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
- Performs routine assignments in an entry level to a professional job progression. Typically has knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts. Develops competence by performing structured work assignments. Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems. Receives instruction, guidance, and direction from others.
- Must be proficient in MS Office and data analysis.
- Searching for a high energy, self-motivated, quick learner with the ability to work within a complex business environment.

Compensation
$22-$24 per hour
The rate offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and education level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
