About the job

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, Microelectronics, Electronic Information Engineering, or another related major.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in audio hardware applications, field application engineering, or system engineering, with familiarity with MEMS microphone and MEMS speaker principles, performance parameters, and industry application scenarios.
  • Strong experience analyzing and evaluating audio products using hardware tools such as B&K, GRAS, Audio Precision, Listen Inc. (Soundcheck), or similar tools, and familiarity with acoustic performance test standards and calibration methods.
  • Solid knowledge of audio circuit design, audio amplifier matching, acoustic signal processing, noise reduction, and echo cancellation principles, with the ability to independently debug hardware and tune acoustic audio systems.
  • Familiarity with basic electronic bench equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers, and ability to troubleshoot electrical and acoustic hardware faults.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and fluent English, including the ability to communicate technical solutions to customers and write standardized technical documents and problem analysis reports.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments, take a proactive approach to work, solve problems, and adapt to short-term business travel for on-site customer support.
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to key customers and channel partners through remote guidance and on-site support for MEMS microphone and MEMS speaker hardware integration, electrical debugging, and acoustic performance optimization.
  • Guide customers through product design-in, including schematic review, PCB layout optimization, acoustic cavity design verification, sound channel design, mechanical integration, and matching and debugging audio amplifier circuits to address early-stage design bottlenecks.
  • Test and tune MEMS audio product acoustic performance and troubleshoot issues, including SNR, frequency response, THD, SPL, directivity, echo cancellation, and noise reduction calibration; produce standardized test reports and tuning plans.
  • Support customer system-level audio debugging and verification in consumer applications such as TWS headsets, wearables, smartphones, smart audio, and AR/VR devices, resolving sound distortion, background noise, sound leakage, and acoustic mismatch.
  • Develop customer-facing technical documents, including product application notes, hardware design guidelines, integration manuals, and solutions to common problems; conduct regular technical training for customers and internal sales and field application engineering teams.
  • Collect customer technical feedback and market application pain points, report them to R&D and product teams, and assist with product iteration, performance optimization, new product definition, and market adaptability.
  • Work with sales and field application engineering teams on technical demonstrations, solution promotion, and project follow-up; help win customer orders and accelerate project mass production and delivery.
  • Follow up on technical issues during customer mass production, perform fault analysis and root-cause verification, propose improvements, and support production stability.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with audio application scenarios for TWS earphones, wearable devices, smartphones, smart glasses, and consumer audio products, with relevant project design-in and mass production support experience.
  • Familiarity with digital signal processing audio algorithms, I2S/I2C/TDM/SWI3S (SoundWire) audio interface protocols, and Bluetooth audio protocols.
  • Successful experience guiding ODM/OEM customers through MEMS audio product design-in and mass production.
