Requirements
  • JD degree from ABA accredited university and member in good standing of the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience providing legal support to technology businesses at both a well-regarded law firm and commercial legal department
  • At least 1 year in the software/SaaS industry with strong understanding of cloud and SaaS technology agreements and sophisticated supply chains
  • Ability to understand technical concepts as well as be proficient in enterprise software development methods and business models
Responsibilities
  • Support the Splunk global procurement team by reviewing transactions and advising on legal, compliance and regulatory issues
  • Build a trusted advisor relationship
  • Engage with the procurement and finance teams to support transactions and process improvements
  • Support Global Supply Chain activities
  • Review, draft and negotiate technology agreements and templates for use within the Splunk business
  • Support supplier due diligence processes to ensure compliance with customer demand, laws, regulations and internal policies
  • Develop positive, strong, and collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners across Splunk to deliver on complex tasks
  • Pitch in on other responsibilities as needed
