About the job
- A first experience in institutional or collective catering is required.
- The candidate must apply culinary skills and techniques while adapting to the specific needs of elderly residents.
- The candidate must understand and comply with applicable food-safety and sanitation standards.
- The candidate must work under the authority of the Head Chef.
- Perform basic preparatory kitchen tasks, including peeling vegetables and scaling and cleaning fish.
- Clean, maintain, and store dishes, kitchen equipment, utensils, facilities, and premises.
- Prepare meals adapted to residents' dietary regimes and abilities.
- Check product quality and the finish of dishes.
- Receive deliveries.
- Maintain the kitchen in accordance with the Sanitary Control Plan.
- Contribute to the well-being and comfort of residents.
- A passion for service is an asset.
